2016 Season

Summary

Take Bat retook the cup, facing tough competition from 2015 winners Nutty Nukes, but having established a clear lead by the half-way point, maintained their dominance. Both teams fielded excellent teams in a match well worth watching.

In the Plate Final, Bat Fastards stormed to a convincing victory against Bat to the Future. The standard of play was again very high from both teams.

Following the Grand Final, trophies were presented to all finalists and the highest scoring players. The top female score of 19 rounders was jointly won by Molly Probert of Schrodinger's Bat and Sarah Wilson from Barmy Army. The top male scorer was Simon Cooper of Lumen Loonies with 52.5 rounders.

A total of 4091 rounders were scored in the 2016 season.
